Atique Choudhury, MIST (AE) graduate has joined the world’s largest Aircraft Manufacturer and Aerospace Designer The Boeing Company, as Associate Advanced Concepts Engineer – Commercial Aircrafts in Long Beach, California, USA.

He graduated from Aeronautical Engineering Department of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) and pursued his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, which is one of the top ranked Public Research Universities of the USA.

He has been pursuing his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the same University.

He passed his HSC from Adamjee Cantonment College (ACC) and SSC from Chittagong Cantonment Public College.

He was a full-time employee of one of the largest Commercial Aircraft Designer & Manufacturer company of the world, Airbus, in USA.

He worked as a Mass Properties Engineer in Airbus North America Engineering Design Centre & AIRBUS Airbus A350-XWB (Final Assembly Line 2010) final Assembly Line (FAL) in Alabama, USA.

He worked as Energy Hawk Summer Intern at International Center for Energy and Environmental Sustainability Research (EERC), USA from May 24, 2020 – August 7, 2020.

He was the Lead Researcher of the project the “Effect of Changing Decalage in Biplane Blade Design for Wind Turbine”

He worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at University of North Dakota from 2018 – 2020.

He worked as a Planning Engineer at NOVOAIR from January 3, 2016 – August 5, 2018.

He completed his internship/industrial training in Biman Bangladesh Airlines from MIST.

During her undergrad level in MIST he was an active participant of MIST Robotics Club and accomplished various successful projects and received numerous awards.

He is a member and also working as a reviewer in ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) from March 2021.

He is a certified private pilot from Cessna Aircraft Company.

He is a licencesed Propulsion Designer of the The Boeing Company, USA.

His MSc research area includes structural dynamics, Aerospace Structural Vibration, Wing Morphing Design and Energy Harvesting Technology.

His MSc Title was “Aero-structural optimization of Fiber Reinforced Composite Biplane wind Turbine Blades”

His BSc Thesis was on “Boundary Layer Control, Flow Control, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) & Aerodynamics”.
