University of Chittagong

Founded in 1921, The University of Dhaka has always had the mission of uplifting the educational standards of the people of the region. It was initially meant to provide tertiary education to people who didn’t have access to higher studies till then. Subsequently, it has contributed significantly to the socio-cultural and political development of what was once East Bengal and then East Pakistan, and is now Bangladesh.

Since its establishment, the university has been fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of its students and their parents. It has, of course, not only been a lighthouse of learning, but has also acted as a torch-bearer of the people of the region in issues such as democracy, freedom of expression, and the need for a just and equitable society. It has always been associated with high quality education and research in which students as well as faculty members and alumni have played their parts. The University of Dhaka’s role has expanded beyond its classrooms and research labs during different crises the country has had to face since 1947. In many ways, thus, the university is unique, for it has played a major role in the creation of the independent nation-state of Bangladesh in 1971.

DU Admission Test Method & Marks Distribution

Last year(2019-20) Rajshahi University admission authority declared a new admission system. This year admission test admission will held by MCQ and written method.

According to Ru admission website statement, admission test total marks 100. 60 marks for MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) and another 40 marks for written question. Every Subject has 15 questions for 15 marks in MCQ and 4 questions for 10 marks.

MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions)=60 Marks
Written Exam=40 Marks
Total=100 Marks

Quota

Special number of seats in quota-

Indigenous -50 (Maximum 2 in every subject)

Physical Disabilities- 50 (Maximum 2 in every subject)

Freedom Fighter – 5% of seats per subject

BKSP- 20% of seats in physical education and science department.

পঠিতব্য বিষয়ঃ

দর্শন বিষয়ে স্মাতক পর্যায়ে সাধারণত দার্শনিক বিষয়সমূহ, জীবন সম্পর্কে বিভিন্ন দার্শনিকের মতবাদ, নন্দন তত্ত্ব,গতিবিদ্যা সহ যুক্তিবিদ্যার বিবিধ বিষয়ে পাঠদান করা হয়।

চাহিদাঃ

দর্শন একটি মৌলিক বিষয়। পৃথিবীর প্রতিটি দেশেই এ বিষয়ে স্নাতক ও স্নাতকোত্তর পর্যায়ে ইনস্টিটিউট বিদ্যামান । ‍

বিষয় ভিত্তিক অবস্থানঃ

কলা অনুষদের বিষয়গুলোর মধ্যে নীচের দিকে।

কোথায় এই বিষয় পড়ানো হয়ঃ

ঢাবি, রাবি, জবি, ইবি,শাহজালাল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ইত্যাদি।

চকুরির সুবিধা

অন্যান্য বিভাগের মতো এই বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থীরাও বিসিএস-এর মাধ্যমে চাকুরিতে যোগ দিতে পারে। তাছাড়া স্কুল/কলেজ /বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষকতা, বেসরকারি সংস্থাতেও পেশা শুরু করতে পারে ।

কী পড়ানো হয়

এই বিভাগে প্রধানত মুসলিম শাসকদের ইতিহাস, মুসলিম স্থাপত্য শিল্প, মুসলিম দর্শন, মুসলিম আইন, অর্থনীতি, শিল্প, সংস্কৃতি নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়।

চাহিদা

যেসব শিক্ষার্থী মুসলিমদের গৌরবোজ্জল ইতিহাস ও সমৃদ্ধ শিল্প-সাহিত্য, মুসলমানদের অর্থনৈতিক ব্যবস্থা, ‍মুসলমানদের দর্শন সম্বন্ধে জানতে আগ্রহী তাদের কাছে এই বিষয়ের চাহিদা বয়েছে।

বিষয়ভিত্তিক অবস্থান

বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিষয়গুলোর মধ্যে এর অবস্থান নীচের দিকে।

কোথায় পড়ানো হয়

বাংলাদেশের ঢাকা, চট্রগ্রম, রাজশাহী ও ইসলামী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে এই বিষয় পড়ানো হয়। তাছাড়া অনেক কলেজেই এই বিষয়ে পড়ানো হয়।

উচ্চ শিক্ষা

বাংলাদেশের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় গুলোতে যেখানে এই বিষয় পড়ানো হয় সেখানে থেকে মাস্টার্স এর পর এমফিল ও পিএইচডি ডিগ্রি লাভ করা যায়।

চাকুরির সুবিধা
