BUET Admission Requirements/ Eligibility: According to 2023-24
The interested applicant has to get a GPA of 4.00 out of GPA of 5.00 in SSC or equivalent exam & GPA of 5.00 in HSC or equivalent exam,
They have to pass SSC or equivalent exam in 2020 or 2021,
They have to complete the HSC or equivalent exam in 2023,
Applicants have to get a GPA of 5 in HSC and a GP of 5 in Math, Physics, and Chemistry each.

For Foreign students, applicants must have twelve education years in Foreign institutions and equal grades in the equivalent exam from any Foreign Education Institution. For this, applicants must submit a certified grade equivalent Numerical Value certificate from the authority,

Applicants must pass the GCE “O” Level after November 2017 and the GCE “A” Level with an ‘A’ grade between November 2020 and October 2021. And have a minimum of a B grade in at least five subjects (including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English) in the GCE “O” Level examination and a minimum of A grade in each of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in the GCE “A” Level examination.

How to apply for the BUET Admission test?

Interested applicants have to apply for the BUET Admission Test online. They must pay an application charge by bKash, Nagad, Rocket, and Sonali E Sheba App. Only the Teletalk mobile number applies to it. On the BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology) website at www.buet.ac.bd all processes are described.

Fill out the Online Apply Form:

1. Photo Size (300X350) pixel, Maximum size is 75KB

2. Signature Size: (300X80) pixel, Maximum size is 20KB

3. Fill out the Apply Form properly, on the confirmation page then you will get the Application Number and Password

There are B.Sc. Engineering, BURP, and B. Arch courses in the five faculties and the total number of seats is 1305 of which 3 seats in Engineering and 1 seat in Architecture are reserved for the candidates from Chittagong Hill Tracts and other Tribal Areas of Bangladesh.
