🎓 আইবিএ-জেইউ ভাইভা :
ভাইভা হলো দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি যাচাই করার একটি মানসিক পরীক্ষা। মেধা যাচাই করার জন্য ইতোমধ্যেই তাঁরা লিখিত বা MCQ পরীক্ষা নিয়েছেন। একজন ইন্টার্ভিউয়ার জানেন একজন ক্যান্ডিডেট সব প্রশ্নের উত্তর নাও পারতে পারে এবং সবাই সব প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিতে পারে না। তাই তুমি একটি প্রশ্নের উত্তর ‘কী’ দিবে সেটার চেয়ে ‘কীভাবে’ দিবে সেটাই সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
তাই তোমাকে যতাসম্ভব সুন্দর করে কথা বলা এবং অাত্মবিশ্বাস তৈরিতে মনযোগ দিতে হবে।
🎓 ভাইভাতে ভালো করবে কীভাবে?
ভাইভাতে ভালো করার জন্য একটি লিখা পড়ে যাওয়া বা কিছু প্রশ্নোত্তর মুখস্থ করা কখনোই যথেষ্ট নয়। প্রথম কয়েকটা ভাইভাতে ‘Nervous’ হয়ে যাওয়াটা খুবই স্বাভাবিক ব্যাপার। তাই ভাইভাতে ভালো করার একমাত্র উপায় হলো বেশি বেশি ভাইভা ফেইস করা। যতই ভাইভা ফেইস করবে ততোই বেশি অাত্মবিশ্বাসী হয়ে উঠবে। মূলত সব ভাইভা প্রায় একই রকম।
তুমি কখনো ক্লাব, অরগেনাইজেশন কিংবা কোনো নিয়েগ পরীক্ষার ভাইভা দিয়ে থাকলে পরবর্তী আইবিএ ভাইভাতে ভালো করতে পারবে। এমনকি পাবলিক স্পিকিং, ডিবেটিং, প্রেজেন্টেশন প্রভৃতি স্কিল তোমাকে ভাইভাতে সুন্দর করে গুছিয়ে কথা বলতে সাহায্য করবে। তাই অাজ থেকে এসব স্কিলের কাজ করা শুরু করে দাও। বাসায় দাড়িঁয়ে দাড়িঁয়ে আয়নার সামনে প্রাকটিস করার মধ্য দিয়েই শুরু হয়ে যাক ভাইভা প্রস্তুতি।
সুন্দর করে কথা বলার সবচেয়ে বড় হাতিয়ার কিন্তু ‘হাসি’, হাসি মুখে কথা বলতে ভুলো না কিন্তু 😃 (গভীর কোনো কথা ছাড়া)।
📚 এবার অাসি ভাইভা প্রস্তুতির বেসিক কিছু কথা নিয়ে। ভাইভার জন্য প্রস্তুতির কথা মাথায় অানলেই সবার মনে পড়বে ‘ড্রেসকোড’ এর কথা। শুরু করা যাক এটা দিয়েই।
👔 Dress Code: ইন্টারভিউয়ার তোমার Dress Code দেখে তোমাকে Judge করতে পারে। তুমি কত দামী বা সুন্দর কাপড় পর সেটার চাইতে বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হল তুমি কাপড়গুলো দিয়ে নিজেকে কীভাবে Dressed up করো সেটা। চলো দেখে নিই কীভাবে তুমি একটা ‘Proper ‘Dress Code’ maintain করতে পারো।
👦 Male:
ছেলেদের জন্য Dress Code টা খুব বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। Formal Dress এর কিছু etiquette নিয়ে অালোচনা করি।
1. Tie length :
Tie Length এমন হওয়া উচিত যাতে Tie এর শেষ প্রান্ত বেল্টের শুরুর অংশকে হালকাভাবে স্পর্শ করবে। এর চেয়ে ছোট বা লম্বা হলে দেখতে খারাপ লাগবে।
2. Belt and Shoes
মনে রাখবে বেল্ট এবং জুতার কালার সবসময় একই হতে হবে। যেমন জুতা যদি ব্রাউন হয়, বেল্টও ব্রাউন হতে হবে।
3. Suit
স্যুটের যদি দুইটা Button থাকে, তাহলে নিচের বাটন কখনও লাগাবে না এবং বসার সময় বাটন কখনো লাগবে না। Button লাগানো থাকলে মনে হবে কেউ তোমাকে চেপে ধরে রেখেছে এবং এতে সহজে move করতে পারবে না।
👩 Female :
মেয়েদের Dress Code অনেকটাই শিথিল। তাদের জন্য দুইটা উপদেশ দেব
১। যেকোনো কাপড় পরতে পারো তবে সেটা যেন ভদ্র দেখায় এবং ‘FLASHY COLOR’ না হয়।
২। সবসময় যথাসম্ভব ‘Ornament & Jewelry’ বর্জন করো। এগুলো যত কম ব্যবহার করবে তত বেশি Formal এবং Sober লাগবে।
📢 ভাইভাতে কী জিজ্ঞেস করবে?
এটা আসলে নির্দিষ্ট করে তেমন কিছু বলার নেই। একেক জনকে একেক রকম প্রশ্ন করতে পারে। ভাইভাতে ইন্টারভিউয়ার ক্যান্ডিডেট দেখেই অনেক প্রশ্ন করতে পারে। ধরো তুমি কলম অানতে ভুলে গেলা, ঐ অবস্থায় তোমাকে কলম অানা না অানা নিয়ে দুয়েকটা প্রশ্ন করতে পারে। অাবার ধরো তুমি দেরি করে ভাইভাতে গেলে, ঐ সময় তেমাকে সময় জ্ঞান নিয়ে কিছু বলতে পারে। কিছু কিছু সাধারণ প্রশ্ন থাকে যেগুলো মোটামুটি সবাইকে করতে পারে। যেমন –
নাম, বাড়ি, স্কুল-কলেজ, পরিবার ইত্যাদি নিয়ে সাধারণ কোনো প্রশ্ন। অাগে কোথাও ভর্তি থাকলে বা অন্য কোথাও চান্স পেলে তার সম্পর্কিত কিছু জিজ্ঞেস করতে পারে, তুমি ঐ ইন্সটিটিউট বা ডিপার্টমেন্ট ছেড়ে কেনো অাসতে চাও সেটাও জিজ্ঞেস করতে পারে। আইবিএ ভাইভাতে অারেকটি কমন প্রশ্ন হলো ‘Why do you choose IBA?’ এই প্রশ্নের উত্তর নিজের মতো করে গুছিয়ে নিতে পারো। এর সম্ভাব্য উত্তর হতে পারে:
IBA is very prestigious and has a very good faculty. I am very impressed with the standard of IBA. In addition, graduating from IBA entails good career Prospects.All reputed employers are Keen to employ IBA graduates. I have seen that most of the IBA graduates go on enjoying a very successful career path. That’s why I choose IBA.
অারেকটা প্রশ্ন সচরাচর করা হয়ে থাকে, সেটা হলো ‘Why Should we select you?’ এটার সম্ভাব্য উত্তর হতে পারে:
You should select me because I can be able to fulfill the criteria. If you select me it will be a great platform to show my skills and if I get selected I will give my 100% So that I can help making IBA proud.
‘Describe yourself’ এই প্রশ্নটা বেশ প্রচলিত। সাধারণত চাকুরীর ইন্টারভিউতে এটি বেশি করা হয়। তারপরো অাইবিএতে স্যার তোমার সম্পর্কে জানতে চাইলেই এই প্রশ্নটা করে বসতে পারে। এই প্রশ্নটা করলে মানুষ যেটা বুঝে ভুল করে সেটা হলো ‘নিজের সম্পর্কে বলতে গিয়ে নিজের বায়ো ডাটা অনর্গল বলতে থাকে।’ অাসলে এই প্রশ্নের মধ্যে দিয়ে তোমার দক্ষতা, ইচ্ছা অনিচ্ছা, ভালো লাগা, দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি ইত্যাদি জানতে চাওয়া হয় যা দিয়ে তোমার সম্পর্কে ভালো ধারণা জন্মে।
এর উত্তর অামি হলে যেভাবে দিতাম :

I believe I am a versatile person who can adapt according to given circumstances I believe I am a hardworking person with little emotion but the word that describes me well is ‘Punctual.’
এই প্রশ্নটার একটা সংক্ষিপ্ত রূপ আছে যেটা এখনকার সময়ে বেশি করা হয়ে থাকে, সেটা হলো ‘Describe yourself in 3 words’ তিন শব্দে নিজেকে ব্যাখ্যা করার কাজটি হুট করেই কিন্তু সহজ হয়ে উঠে না। জীবনে প্রথম এই প্রশ্নটা ফেইস করলে ঘাবড়ে যাওয়া স্বাভাবিক। তাই অাজ ঘেকেই নিজেকে তিন শব্দে ব্যাখ্যা করার জন্য প্রস্তুতি নিয়ে নাও। তিনটা ‘বিশেষণ’ মুখস্থ করা কিন্তু যথেষ্ট নয়, নিজের জন্য তিনটা বিশেষণ খুজেঁ বের করাটাই অাসল কাজ।
ভাইভাতে কখনো মিথ্যা বলার চেষ্টা করোনা। মিথ্যা বললে ধরা পড়ার সম্ভাবনা বেশি থাকে কারণ সেখানে অত্যন্ত অভিজ্ঞাতাসম্পন্ন শিক্ষকরা থাকবেন। একটি মিথ্যা তেমার পুরো ভাইভাকে শেষ করে দিতে পারে।
এসব ব্যাক্তিগত প্রশ্ন ছাড়াও তোমাকে কিছু সাধারণ জ্ঞান জাতীয় প্রশ্ন করতে পারে। যেমন অামাকে দুটো প্রশ্ন করেছিলো, ‘Gellette Razor’ বাংলাদেশে কোন কোম্পানি অামাদানি করে? এবং ‘Knorr’ ব্র্যান্ডটির মালিকানা প্রতিষ্ঠান কোনটি’। এই ধরণের প্রশ্নের উত্তর জানা থাকলে অনেক ভালো, না থাকলেও তেমন কোনো সমস্যা হবে না। Sorry বলে জানিয়ে দাও উত্তরটি তোমার জানা নেই। সংবাদপত্র, কারেন্ট অ্যাফেয়ার্স নিয়মিত পড়তে থাকো এবং ভাইভার দিনের সংবাদপত্র কখনোই মিস করো না।
☑ অারো কিছু বিষয় মাথায় রাখবে-
১.কাগজপত্র সব একটি ফাইলে নিয়ে যাবে।
২. কলম নিতে ভুলোনা।
৩.ঢোকার সময় অনুমতি নিয়ে ঢুকবে।
৪.গিয়ে সবাইকে সালাম/অাদাব/নমস্কার/Good Morning* বলে বসবে।
৫.কথা বলার ভলিউম সবসময় হাই রাখবে যাতে স্পষ্ট তোমার কথা বুঝা যায় 🔊
৬. ঢোকার অাগে নিজেকে ভালভাবে পরিপাটি করে নিবে। জুতা একবার মুছে নিবে, ঘেমে গেলে মুছে নিবে।
৭.দরজা বন্ধ করা বা খুলতে সাবধানতা অবলম্বন করবে, তুমি যাওয়ার শেষ মুহূর্ত পর্যন্ত ইন্টারভিউয়ার তোমার দিকে লক্ষ্য রাখবেন 👀

For IBA RU, Eligibility :
Admission Test
All applicants (except foreign students) will be required to appear at an admission test which is administered by IBA in Rajshahi. The applicant’s aptitude will be tested in the following three areas:
1. English language and communication.
2. Analytical ability.
3. Basics of science/ basics of business/ basics of humanities.
However, the academic committee of the institute will decide the areas where the applicant’s aptitude will be tasted.
To qualify in the admission test, an applicant must obtain minimum qualifying marks in each area.
2 months ago, our director sir of IBA said to us in our class that this year the admission test of IBA will be held separately in unit “J”. He also said that the main question will be in English (but you will also get bangla translation beside English)
