It is our great pleasure to let you know that, Md Shafiul Islam Shovon, student of MIST CSE-14 and the former secretary (2017) of MIST Computer Club, has been recruited by Amazon UK.
During his time at MIST, he marked his presence with exceptional problem-solving and programming skills. He was an inspiring figure for all the budding competitive programmers and his calm demeanor made him a person to idolize.
Shafiul was an active participant in programming contests. He participated in around 20 national-level programming contests, 2 National Collegiate Programming Contests, and 2 ICPC Dhaka Regionals.
Among all his brilliant results, 8th at ACM ICPC Dhaka Regional 2018 was the best. His optimistic personality and hard-working attitude are examples for all of us.
Shafiul will be joining the Amazon Prime Video team based in London UK as a Software Development Engineer. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors. We believe he will be even more prolific during his time at Amazon.
